Qualifications
• Education : High school diploma. Valid working state commercial driver’s license.
• Experience : One year's experience utilizing materials handling/distribution techniques and equipment in a warehouse environment. Six months automated logistics system experience. Six months experience driving a commercial delivery vehicle.
• Additional Skills (required): Considerable manual dexterity to utilize small tools, count items, operate computer, etc. Good verbal and written communication skills (includes good grammar and spelling). Thorough ability to prioritize and organize. Ability to read and follow instructions (includes "menu driven instructions" in automated Materials Management system). Ability to comprehend and follow verbal instructions. Ability to work in a stressful environment resulting from a high volume of product demand by organizational customer base. Good analytical, problem solving, and diplomacy skills. Ability to use mature, sound judgment in handling a broad variety of referral calls and in the guidance of other staff members. Ability to interact with individuals throughout the organization in a professional and pleasant manner. Good numerical skills. Pleasant and easily understood telephone voice. Ability to function effectively within a team oriented work environment. Basic computer skills required.
