Web Developer II Position Highlights: The Web Developer II is involved in all aspects of product life cycle including# requirements gathering and analysis, design, development, coding and support of mission critical clinical and business related web applications, components and services at Moffitt Cancer Center.## This position designs, codes, tests, debugs, implements and provides administration of web based applications for Moffitt Cancer Center and its intranet, internet, and extranet sites.# The Web Developer II is able to participate in developing recommendations for complex projects of diverse scope and can perform complex tasks independently.# This position reviews project requirements to assist in the development of project schedules and prioritizes the development cycle of multiple ongoing projects. Responsibilities: Develop web based software applications using integrated development environments (IDE). Plan releases based on project and organizational initiative roadmaps.# Create new software tools to reduce operating costs so that others can complete tasks more efficiently. Interface with stakeholders, project managers, and project teams to define# and design web based clinical and business software . Analyze requirements and provide recommendations for software development. Administration of Team Foundation Server (TFS) in support of project development. Document development procedures. Develop web services and database interfaces to support 3rd party applications and cross departmental efforts. Estimate project efforts to assist in the defining of project schedules and resource allocation. Conduct code reviews. Perform system testing to evaluate functionality across multiple operating systems and browsers. Develop and deploy software patches. Coordinate with other technical teams for integration solutions. Troubleshoot production issues. Credentials and Education: Bachelor#s Degree # field of study: Computer Science (e.g. Software Development, Programming, Web Development or related field) Computer Engineering, or a related field Minimum of five (5) years of experience with: ASP.NET Visual Studio Software integration and deployment Software Life Cycle Minimum of two (2) years experience with: C## ASP.NET MVC## Web services development MS SQL, MySQL, and Oracle development jQuery Software Release Planning Team Foundation Server Visual Basic Developing Software Applications in a Agile Environment Min one (1) year experience with:# Javascript frameworks IIS Apache Java Demonostrated knowledge of object-oriented programming (OOP) and computer science foundations
