Full Job Description In 2012 CoreLife created its healthcare model based upon a personal experience, which uncovered a fragmented, uncoordinated, and one-dimensional array of treatment options for overweight and obese patients. This led to the development of a community-based, multifaceted model that combines and coordinates the core disciplines necessary to obesity, the medical conditions associated with obesity, and the contributing lifestyle and psychosocial factors.
The mission of CoreLife is to enhance the total health of our community by providing a comprehensive, compassionate, and individualized approach to healthcare through the coordinated management of medical, nutrition, exercise, and behavior.
We are seeking an experienced reception professional to join the team. The Front Desk Coordinator is responsible for providing high-level customer service to all patients.
Some specific duties include:
• Managing the check-in and check-out process
• Greeting our patients as they arrive
• New patient consults
• Collecting payments and balances on patient accounts; handling medical insurance
• Scheduling appointments, ensuring accurate paperwork, and procedures
• Answering phones in a timely and professional manner
• Keeping the reception area neat, stocked, and organized as required
• Helping to prepare documents and charts for the day
• Cleaning the office
• Other related duties as assigned
Requirements:
• A professional demeanor with excellent customer service skills
• EPIC Experience is a MUST!
• Able to work in a moderately-paced medical office while maintaining excellent attention to detail
• Able to communicate in a friendly and welcoming manner with all patients/visitors
• Team player
• Strong multitasking and organizational skills
Preferred:
• At least 1 year of medical front office experience is a strong plus
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Familiarity with medical insurance
• A passion for health and helping others
• A positive attitude
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Schedule:
• 10 hour shift
