Primary Purpose of Position: *
The primary purpose of this position is to provide effective support, coordination and monitoring of assigned grants and quality assurance activities and projects as assigned. This position assures ongoing compliance with all related state and federal regulations, contractual requirements, Accrediting standards/mandates as applicable and Quality Department policies, procedures and directives. The individual in this position will additionally serve as a liaison between Partners, internal staff, grant regulators, providers and other stakeholders as it relates to grants management, external grant audits and other quality activities as assigned.

Role and Responsibilities: *
• Assures compliance with all applicable regulatory and contractual requirements.
• Develops, implements and manages an effective grant monitoring process.
• Conducts grant compliance and performance reviews, and reports on findings and recommendations in a concise and factual manner.
• Assists with National Accrediting duties and oversight as assigned.
• Coordinates and partners with various internal departments and external stakeholders to assure effective grant performance, effective quality deliverables, ongoing compliance, and educational endeavors.
• Develops, implements and manages the internal grant performance reporting process and completes quality initiatives as assigned while ensuring Partners and the Quality Department is meeting and tracking on all deliverables.
• Coordinates and/or completes required external grant reporting and quality assignments by established deadlines, while assuring accurate, complete and timely reporting.
• Duties of this role include but are not limited to: reporting, research, tracking and oversight maintenance to ensure duties as assigned whether grants or quality related are meeting expectations for deliverables assigned.
• Facilitates, coordinates, and prepares for external grant auditing by regulatory authorities.
• Serves as the site coordinator for external audits, and assures audits are meeting regulatory authority deliverables.
• Ensure full compliance pre, and post regulatory audits, and assures appropriate corrective action is applied in a timely, accurate, and thorough manner when applicable.
• Completes reports, monitoring and provides oversight, approves grants invoices, attends training and meetings, participates on calls for grants compliance and quality compliance as assigned.
• Develops and conducts/facilitates educational training for internal staff and external stakeholders related to grant requirements and quality initiatives as assigned.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: *
• Familiar with state and federal laws relating to grants monitoring compliance and practices.
• Familiar with state and federal laws, mandates relating to NC Tailored Plan, National Accreditation, Quality Assurance and general administration of policies, procedures and accepted practices.
• Familiar with generally accepted account principles and standards related to grants monitoring and administration.
• Ability to effectively prepare written findings and present recommendations based on facts as related to grants or quality initiatives.
• Ability to effectively prepare, analyze and present financial, regulatory and general grant and administration related information and reports.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both orally and in written form.
• Strong analytical skills and abilities.
• Ability to take complex information and effectively convey in a manner targeted toward various audiences with varying levels of understanding.
• Effective conflict management, project management, negotiation, time management and organizational skills.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, and Power Point
• Ability to develop solutions and make recommendations for necessary process improvements as well as the ability to manage and effectively coordinate implementation, fulfill quality assurance assignments as appointed.
• Ability to support recommendations and findings based on factual data.
• Ability to interpret contractual and regulatory information.
• Ability to build positive relationships internally and externally.
• Effectively demonstrate an ability to represent Partners in a professional and respectful manner.
• Ability to travel as needed and appropriate for grant compliance, assurance compliance and performance oversight activities.

Education/Experience Required: *
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or Public Administration field from an accredited institution required OR a two-year related degree and two years of equivalent experience required.

Education/Experience Preferred: *
One year of grants management and/or quality assurance and/or administration experience within the past 5 years.
