Full Job Description JOB DESCRIPTION:
Pay rate: $18/hr
Schedule: 1st shift Monday - Friday. 7 am - 3:30 pm
Primary Responsibilities:
Shipping Clerk responsibilities, include but not limited to the following:
• Reports to Warehouse Supervisor or Inventory Control
· Use shipping software to organize and prioritize shipping activities
· Responsible for planning and implementing overall shipping strategy
· Hands on experience with shipping and distribution software
· Hands on experience in budgeting and reporting
· Good leadership skills
· Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
· Team player
· Good time-management skills
· Great interpersonal and communication skills
· Oversee the whole shipping process
· Suggest solutions for process optimization
· Inspect labels and barcodes
· Supervise and oversee shipping team members
· Build and maintain professional relationships with relevant internal and external stakeholders (such as warehouse workers, vendors, purchasing managers, suppliers etc.)
· Negotiate better pricing
· Identify shipping issues and implement solutions in a timely manner
· Create and present reports for upper management
· Compliant with cGMP guidelines and SOP’s
Required Qualifications:
· Operating a Fork truck
· Data Entry
· Receiving back up
· Prepare shipments
· Load Shipments
· Arrange Shipments and document
