Full Job Description
Carolina Precision Technologies is a contract manufacturer specializing in small diameter, close tolerance machined part, located in Mooresville, NC. The ideal candidate will be hard working, and team oriented while keeping on task with minimal direct supervision; must have great attention to detail, and a willing to follow directions to the letter. Duties will include dimensional inspections of machined parts using inspection equipment, visual inspections of machined parts with or without magnification. Use of calipers, micrometers, go/no-go gauges are preferred. SPC experience is a plus!
Principal Responsibilities:
• Basic measurement equipment: calipers, micrometers, go/no-go gauges, etc. - preferred
• General computing skills including utilizing basic functions of Microsoft Excel and Word
• Attention to detail
• Critical thinking
• Ability to focus and stay on task with or without direct supervision
• Ability to maintain a clean and safe workspace
• Ability to read Blueprints - preferred
• Strong communication skills to relay information to leadership
Basic Requirements:
• 1 Year of inspection experience
