This position is assigned to work in the maintenance department on second shift, Monday – Friday, eight hours a day with occasional overtime. ResponsibilitiesSkilled in PLC troubleshooting & programmingAbility to troubleshoot electronic boards and circuitsProficient in mechanical troubleshooting and installationsFamiliar with troubleshooting automated machine cells and roboticsUse hand tools as required to repair equipmentAdhere to all safety requirements including, but not limited to, LOTO, electrical safety, working at heights and wearing appropriate (PPE) Personal Protection Equipment as requiredYou should have a safety 1st mindset ensuring all safety guidelines are followed consistentlyMaintain shop supplies, floor stock and tools used in maintenance processesRecommend improvements consistently striving for efficient and effective methodologiesMaintain departmental quality standardsOther duties and responsibilities as assignedEducation / QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GEDMaintenance experience in a dynamic manufacturing environmentAbility to work effectively in a team environmentThe ideal candidate should be a self-starter and be able to adapt to a dynamic environmentMust have the ability to bend, stoop, stand, and kneelEEO/AAP StatementCarrier Corporation is An Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
