Preferred Qualifications Position Summary Under the direction of the Director, the Investigator will conduct investigations of complaints of discrimination and harassment; prepare reports regarding investigation findings; develop and conduct training for faculty, staff, and students on recognizing, reporting and preventing unlawful harassment, discrimination and retaliation. Assist in drafting and enforcing University policies. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Juris Doctor degree from an accredited institution of higher education, with at least three years of substantive legal experience that directly relates to the position Self-starter with the ability to effectively manage multiple matters at once Experience conducting investigations or administrative reviews PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Knowledge of equal opportunity issues related to higher education and student conduct Experience in Higher Education or similar field Experience investigating claims of unlawful harassment and discrimination Experience with case management tracking tools DEI training and experience Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies Experience investigating claims of unlawful discrimination and harassment.Knowledge of Title IX coordination and OCR practices and procedures.Knowledge of Civil Rights laws and regulations.Higher education experience.Experience in investigating student sexual misconduct cases.
