We have an immediate opening for a Regional Account Manager based in or the surrounding area of Atlanta GA. The Regional Account Manager is a strategically focused position emphasizing a relationship driven, consultative Customer Support outreach focused on retention, growth, and service support of targeted regional, route delivered accounts.

Responsibilities
While other duties may evolve based on business needs, the Regional Account Manager role focuses on the following areas:
• Customer Interaction / Community Networking & Events
• Travel to customer locations for customer interactions/implementation of new programs/training.
• Organization and participation in community events in support of Royal Cup Coffee and Tea.
• Customer Trade Show / Marketing Support
• Represent products and services across all market segments, highlighting current market trends, new products and interact with current and potential customers to grow their familiarity with Royal Cup Coffee and Tea.
• Account Management
• Receive and address customer questions via variety of communication.
• Maintain current knowledge of new products, equipment and service features; ensuring customers are informed about opportunities for growth in their business/sales via said product/equipment/service features.
• Execute regular, rotating calls and visits to customer locations, performing quality control checks on product, equipment and service. Meet with customers, discuss needs and execute resulting orders/dispatch of product, equipment or service as needed.
• Meet and exceed goals for a defined book of business.
• Ensure Royal Cup policies and procedures are executed in a consistent manner.

Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill(s), and/or abilities (including physical abilities) required to satisfactorily perform each essential duty.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
• Bachelors Degree (preferably in Business or a similar discipline) and/or combined Education & Equivalent Sales Experience.
• Minimum of 2-4 years of experience, preferably in the food & beverage/route distribution market.
• Ability to work independently with an exceptional work ethic and lead teams by example.
• Ability to utilize multiple tools, to include an outgoing and success driven personality, to achieve a strong record of business growth through effective selling and account management.
• Ability to think strategically with a focus on the day to day execution of business as well as long range future planning.
• A desire and commitment to community and professional networking and involvement.
• Ability, beyond basic skill performance levels with Reading, Writing, and Mathematical & Computer Functions, to include all Microsoft Office Software. Prior experience using hand held sales device tools and experience with C4C and SAP are highly preferable.
• Ability to perform the physical demands of the position which are required to successfully perform each essential responsibility. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the core responsibilities.  These physical demands may include, among other functions:
• Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching, typing, reading, talking and hearing.
• When needed, occasional periods of pro-longed sitting while driving to and from customer site locations.
• When needed, occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching and other functions as required to load, deliver, unload and rotate product and material for clients, community events and trade shows. This may involve lifting and moving product weighing up to 50 pounds (with assistance) and operation of a wheeled hand truck.
• Ability to travel, as required and periodically requiring overnight stay to attend meetings, training and other work related events as scheduled.
• Ability to work with and support others in a positive way.
• Ability to successfully complete the pre-employment process.
