Job Description Proactive Technical Recruitment is hiring a Maintenance Technician II & III in Athens, GA for our prestigious customer specializing in the Food & Beverage industry!

Salary: $23/hr. - $28/hr.
Shift: Rotating shift work with periodic overtime
Location: Athens, GA
Perform troubleshooting and corrective maintenance on all machines, equipment, cooling pumps, chillers, conveyor systems and material handling systems, etc. in a timely manner.  Assist other maintenance employees in troubleshooting issues with machines and equipment plant wide.  Continue to seek ways to improve functions and overall output on all machines, equipment, support systems and production lines.
Job Requirements:
• Knowledge of common controls architecture including Keyence and Sacmi vision systems, PLC, HMI, Drive controller software.
• Able to restore operating systems of common controls architecture, including vision, communication, PLC, HMI, and Drive controller software.
• Assist in developing machine and work cell reliability projects, conducts machine and equipment audits, compiles associated parts and task list.
• Assist other maintenance personnel as needed.
• Knowledge with injection molding.
• Will act as the lead on all maintenance issues.
• Complies with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Food Safety, Quality and HACCP Pre-requisite Programs related to activities performed for this position.
Requirements
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• 7-10 years industrial plant maintenance experience.
• Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability required.
• Thorough understanding of electrical and mechanical maintenance required.
• Working knowledge of CMMS knowledge.
• Electronic troubleshooting and repairs advanced training levels of hydraulic function, troubleshooting, and repair.
