Position Summary: This position is responsible for creating, designing, and delivering a wide variety of dynamic visual, graphic, video, public relations materials and social media content for the University of Georgia Women’s Basketball across all social media platforms. Oversight of all initiatives and designs on all UGA Women’s Basketball social media platforms including educational efforts and the development and implementation of a strategic social calendar.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, provide superior customer service and ability to work some nights and weekends as needed during competitions. Knowledge of graphic design, communications, marketing, or a closely-related field. Experience in professional sports or collegiate athletics creative, communications or marketing areas.
Highly proficient design skills, videography skills, and a demonstrated ability to lead creative teams. Advanced knowledge of and experience with creative software including Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe After Effects. Demonstrated knowledge of social media trends and analytics. Experience with web design, including HTML and CSS.
Excellent project management and organizational skills. Experience with and demonstrated ability to create, utilize, and interpret brand standards. Demonstrated ability to create digital and social media campaigns, particularly those focused on driving fan attendance and revenue generation.

Duties/Responsibilities: Responsible for leading and executing creative/branding, digital, and social media strategy for UGA Women’s Basketball, including the following: managing all head coach social media activity, support assistant coach and student-athlete social media activity, guide the team in designing and executing creative content to drive and enhance fan engagement, brand awareness, communications and advertising strategy.

Duties/Responsibilities: Develop, implement and evaluate the strategic communications plan across the UGA Women’s Basketball audiences in collaboration with the Athletic Association. Decide who, where and when to disseminate. Put communications vehicles in place to create momentum and awareness as well as to test the effectiveness of communications activities and works closely with the Athletic Association creative solutions and external teams to achieve goals. Coordinate the content for all social media channels.
