Eaton’s industrial sector is currently seeking a Team Lead to join our team. This position is based at our Athens, GA location. The payrate is $24.00/hr
Position Overview:
In addition to production duties, the lead operator is expected to prioritize, train and direct the daily activities of assembly hourly employees.  Training includes, but is not limited to, company policies, procedures, safety requirements, and work instructions

In this function you will:
• Ensure that equipment is functioning properly.
• Maintain and communicate quality standards.
• Coordinate training for all new employees on the line.
• Facilitate start-up meetings.
• Communicate production standards and work with the team to meet or exceed the standards.
• Ensure that all necessary paperwork (i.e. defect sheets, goal board work orders, poke yoke’s, containments) are filled out correctly and up-to-date.

Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications:
• High School Diploma
• Manufacturing experience
Preferred Qualifications:
• Previous leadership experience
• Team building skills
Position Criteria:
• Must be able to keep a good working relationship with supervision, operators and mechanics.
• Willing to work in a team environment and be flexible to meet production needs.
• Must be a team player.
• Must have strong oral and written communication skills, basic problem-solving skills, must be able to work with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to handle important information, written and verbal, in a professional and confidential manner.
