Our organization is seeking an experienced Pest Control Technician to control infestations of rats, mice and other rodents and insects. You will carry out general pest control activities like setting traps, using insecticides and other pest control products. You will have to be accurate and reliable when using pest control products. As a technician, you must be able to record observations and perform tests to find pests. You must also keep on top of any new pest control techniques. Since this position involves outdoor work, a high level of physical fitness is required. In addition, you should have a degree of mechanical ability as well as some knowledge of biology and chemistry. Ultimately, the Pest Control technician’s duties include providing pest control inspections for residential and commercial areas.
Responsibilities:
• Perform an in-depth inspection of the premises and identify entry points for pests. Recommend preventive measures and treatment measures. Analyze the nature of the infestation and its severity .Perform periodic inspections to ensure that properties are pest free. Handle chemical applications effectively.
