This is a new analyst role being created to support the Procurement Risk Management Program of ELC that addresses Reputation & Sustainability, Business Continuity & Growth, and Cost & Profitability risks.
Specifically, the purpose of this job is to support the PMO for three essential risk mitigation strategies: Capacity Planning, Business Continuity, and New Launch Planning. The acceleration of these three programs is a key focus for the next fiscal year.  Capacity planning focuses on supporting long term growth of hero products with three work streams for Skincare, Make-up, and Fragrance.  Business continuity includes development of risk mitigation strategies including developing alternate suppliers, identifying substitute materials in formulas as well as increasing inventory across ingredients, packaging, and TPM. The new launch planning initiative is in very early stages and is being designed to integrate key new launches with inline business. The PMO analyst will work with each project core team to support alignment and reporting to leadership as part of the overall risk management framework.
The position interfaces and integrates across any combination of internal customers including but not limited to Supply Chain, Finance, R&D, Legal, GIS, GSR in order to fully implement the risk mitigation strategies and foster continuous process improvement.
Key responsibilities for this role include:
• Support the PMO in governance and oversight of global risk management initiatives portfolio
• Collaborate with Procurement leadership to develop and manage a project governance framework which facilitates prioritization and alignment
• Help define, establish and support project management communication activities
• Support development and execution of project plans, schedules, tasks, issues, budgets and deliverables
• Review and analyze project data and information to provide status updates
• Work within the ELC PMO/core team structure to ensure timely and accurate reporting on all projects
• Coordinates with the PMO organization, key KPI's and executive reports across Procurement QUALIFICATIONS
• Undergraduate degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, Business Management or Industrial Engineering
• 5% travel time
• 0-1    years of experience in Procurement either in category/operations organization or PMO
• Strong interpersonal and communication (oral and written) skills to work at all levels of the organization
• Able to support creation of executive communications
• Strong analytical skills – data gathering, modeling, reporting etc.
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks on short or changing timelines
