Array's People Operations Specialist role is a hands-on role that is responsible for the operations of Array's core people team functions — day-to-day benefits support, tooling, and onboarding for our growing and geographically dispersed population. You will play a pivotal role in their initial experience joining Array and feeling supported during each step of their journey. You are outcome-oriented and will proactively identify opportunities to improve processes. You approach your work with empathy and thoughtfulness, while considering iterative ways to always help our team improve our level of support and scalability.
Most importantly, you find people-focused work exciting and rewarding. This role will report into the People Operations manager.
Responsibilities:
• Act as first point of contact and ongoing resource for all employees and contractors for global onboarding, benefits, life events/leave, and people systems
• HRIS data management and integrations support
• Benefits and compliance administration
• Assist with finance and payroll
• Assist in hosting new hire orientation and provide thought partnership in our continual effort to build out the onboarding program
• Work closely with cross-functional teams such as Talent Acquisition, Finance and Legal
Qualifications
• 2+ years of hands-on HR support experience for scaling teams, working directly with employees and managers across a variety of seniority levels
• Experience working in HRIS systems, as well as engaging in first-tier benefits related questions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide high-quality support to employees with thoughtfulness
• Proven interest in optimizing processes to improve people experience
• Strong ownership mindset — will move over barriers and own things deeply end-to-end
• Ability to operate both independently and collaboratively, handle ambiguity, and tackle open-ended problems
• Seeks out feedback to help us iterate on programs to enhance our employee experience
