Material Handler I
ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE
BUSINESS:  Leslie Controls, Inc
LOCATION:  Tampa, FL
DIRECT REPORTING: Logistic & Warehouse Supervisor
FUNCTIONAL REPORTING:
POSITION DETAILS
Position Summary
Pick and kit jobs per assembly/shop orders and move to next operation. Work in a team environment meeting quality standards and working efficiency. Overtime is require at times.
Principal Activities
• Accurately pick jobs daily per assembly/shop orders.
• Kit Jobs/issue material in ERP system.
• Enters basic transactions into our ERP system and ensures accuracy of data
• Material/parts stocking in warehouse locations.
• Loading/unloading heavy materials/pallets with Fork Truck.
• Help with stocking materials as needed.
• Assures all work performed is within safety guidelines and parameters.
• Sort and place materials on racks, shelves or in bins according to the prime location and space available
• Maintain work area to ensure maintain 6s work environment
• Perform other duties and tasks as assigned
Job Requirements
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
• 0~2 years of experience in warehouse/stockroom.
• Basic knowledge of an ERP System
• EHS Awareness
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds
• Count Accuracy
• Flexible on overtime
Education
• HS Diploma/GED or equivalent
• Fork truck certified is a plus.
