A Traffic Manager develops and maintains transportation and distribution procedures to maximize delivery efficiency. This candidate is responsible for selecting appropriate delivery methods to minimize delivery costs and maximize customer satisfaction.
This position is in a centralized corporate office, responsible for managing a team of associates and is responsible in managing the loading of trucks, setting up delivery routes and unloading of product/material for all company locations.

What you’ll be doing:
·        Manage, analyze, and review all loss or damage claims
·        Manage inventory and maintain communications with carriers, suppliers, warehouses, buyers, Clearance Center Outlets, and others involved in the shipping and delivery of merchandise.
·        Manage the Traffic team which is responsible for the transportation of products from one location to another, such as from loading docks to warehouses or warehouses to stores. To do so, they will arrange product pickups and deliveries with transportation companies and route drivers accordingly.
·        Conduct cost analysis of several transportation companies in order to select one that is cost-efficient and able to handle the shipment loads.
·        Build and maintain relationships with vendors
·        Communicate with trucking companies, warehouse managers/supervisors, buyers, RTG Clearance Centers and members of the Accounting Department. The Manager must ensure that all parties are working together to guarantee that shipments are packed, sent and delivered in a timely manner along with ensuring all payments are processed correctly.
What we’re looking for:
·        At least 5 years of planning, shipping, warehouse management and inventory systems
·        At least 5 years of Managing daily routes/schedules of shipments and deliveries, and tracking the progress of shipments
·        At least 3 years of Management or Supervisory experience in relative field
·        Strong verbal and written communication
·        Analytical, organizational and customer service skills
·        The ability to meet short deadlines and detail-oriented
·        Proficiency in Microsoft Power Point, Outlook and Excel
