There's a seat at our table for you...2nd Shift Freight HandlerMonday - Friday, 4:30 PM until finishedPay: 16.29/hr Plus $1 Night ShiftDistribution Center Location: 1410 Gordon Food Service Dr, Plant City, FL 33563Benefits after 30 days!Be part of a world where hard work and great pay create a place where you can learn by doing, meet new challenges, work alongside some of the greatest team members around, and have a little fun along the way.  Our distribution centers hire some of the best athletes in the business and we are excited you are ready to be part of it! A Freight Handler safely breaks down the product for the correct pallet configuration.Breaks down pallets of product to the correct height and width to be stored in the warehouse Separates inbound freightEnsures placement of the product in sufficient quantities to accommodate routine and/or special demands.Ensures that all products are separated by item code onto palletsEnsures that damaged product is properly accounted for and not received into the warehouse for sale inventory. Sorts and disposes of boxes.Clears conveyor lines and surrounding areas of all extraneous inventory.Adheres to the mission and cornerstone values and applicable practices of the organization.Performs other duties as assigned. Like any job, there are some requirements:You must be  18 years of age or older (required).High school diploma or GED equivalent (preferred).Must be able to work holidays, weekends, and overtime as required  -- holidays are very important to our restaurant customers!Must be able to read, write and communicate in English (to read labels, pick lists, scanners, signage, company website information related to benefits, updates, complete paperwork and follow verbal instructions).Successfully passing a drug test that will assess drug usage (including marijuana) and a background check. Application Tips:Valid email so we can follow up with you and let you know what’s happening next in the process.
