Summary
We seek an experienced, highly professional individual who will provide the leadership required in the Truck Trailer Americas business as the Breakthrough Initiative (BTI) Leader for Carrier Transicold.
Responsibilities
• Responsible for all the Americas business related to the growth of the BTI
• Interact with crucial Business (VP/GM & Regional Leaders), Sales, and Marketing Leaders to ensure there is alignment between the business and sales needs
• Owns the Sales Execution Strategy for the BTI for the Americas
• Key contributor to Overall Carrier G&A for the initial business goals/objectives Provide guidance and support to Regional Sales Directors, Regional Service Managers, and Key Account Managers on the growth of this initiative in the Americas pole
• Provide leadership to Dealership Network-based Executive Account Managers focusing on the initiative
• Lead and work closely with Marketing and Engineering for successful product launches and achieve New Product Introductions targets for the Americas pole (related to the BTI)
• Collaborate with the Truck Trailer Americas team to identify opportunities and strategies related to SIOP
• Establish and coordinate forecasting models to support the SIOP process throughout the organization.
• Partners with Truck Trailer Americas dealers and internal team members to improve dealer capability.
• Promotes strategic approaches in business development selection and contract negotiations.
• Provide strategic leadership to the independent dealer network.
• Develop and introduce initiatives to drive customer and dealer satisfaction
• Act as liaison for dealers and the company to promote superior working partnerships
Ideal Candidate
• Minimum 10+ years of experience within the industrial HVAC industry, preferably with OTR, Consumer Product Goods, and transportation industry experience. Know supply chain experience and outside selling, value
• Bachelor's Degree
• Experience in strategy, sales, or people management
Additional Requirements:
• Proven business acumen in driving growth of "start-up" or "ground floor" businesses
• Strong ability to manage through influence
• Skills in areas of planning and holding commercial negotiations
• Excellent verbal/written/presentation skills.
• Ability to communicate and collaborate at executive management levels internally and externally
• Demonstrated experience in change management
• Experienced in the use of CRM tools and Strategic Selling methodologies such as "Value-Based Selling."
• Ability and willingness to travel with typically 40% away from home
