Job Description
• Establish and enforce rules of behavior for children in their classrooms
• Provide basic needs for children
• Provide tools and resources for children to use and explore during learning and play activities
• Manage classroom activities including lessons, play, breaks and meals
• Track children’s progress and report to parents
• Maintain a clean and tidy classroom
• Collaborate with assistant to implement lesson plans
• Always provide supervision for children
• Facilitate various activities for children including songs, games and storytelling
• Follow and implement the GA Pre-K guideliens and standards
Requirements
• Knowledge of GELDS, WSO, and DECAL/BFTS Rules and Regulations
• Bachelor’s Degree
• GACE Teaching Certificate
• CPR Certification preferred
• Child Development Associate Certification preferred
• 2 years experience preferred
