SUMMARY
Under the supervision of the Executive Director, provides holistic, comprehensive services to OASIS residential clients, nonresidential clients, and their dependent children.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Supervise Housing Case Manager(s) and AmeriCorps Members as assigned.
Participate in Federal, State, and Local meetings, committees, and trainings as necessary and appropriate.
Oversee program for compliance with federal, state, and local mandates and requirements. This includes regulations and funding requirements.
Participate in establishing and following budget guidelines as set forth by funders.
Establishes partnerships with community partners and agencies to ensure that housing options continue to be available to clients.
Assess clients for all potential and available housing options, both internally and externally.
Provides individual, group counseling and case management services for OASIS clients as outlined in the KCADV Victim Service Standards.
Collaboratively develop, with each individual client a detailed housing plan which outlines the steps to obtain and maintain permanent housing.
Provides services to promote family self-sufficiency.
Assists clients in establishing a safety plan, identifying goals, and locating resources to achieve them.
Provides information, referrals, crisis intervention and advocacy services for program participants.
Coordinates client needs with appropriate staff.
Responds to crisis calls; provides information and referrals as needed.
Completes client intakes, assessments and exits according to OASIS Policies and Procedures.
Maintains client files as outlined in OASIS Policies and Procedures.
Documents and makes appropriate reports to the Cabinet for Health and Family Services.
Attends case staffings, in-services, trainings and staff meetings as assigned.
Performs public speaking duties; represents agency in community or interagency activities.
Provides agency services to hospitals, social service agencies, schools and law enforcement agencies.
Maintains a county resource directory.
Facilitates client entries to campus and provides follow-up services upon exit.
Transfers phone lines to campus when office is unattended.
Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelors Degree in Social Work or related field or equivalent experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, financial reports, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations and legal documents. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, procedure manuals, speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from supervisors, clients, fellow employees, and the general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to apply concepts of basic math and algebra.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
