Employment Type:Part timeShift:12 Hour Night ShiftDescription:Primary role is to monitor our 10-13 patients 1:1 at high risk for suicide. Will function as an ED Tech when no high risk patients are in the ED or in-house that require 1:1 monitoringCarries out routine patient care duties & related activities under the direct supervision of a RN in the Emergency Room setting.Licensure/Certification/Registration: CPR required at time of hire or w/in 1 week of hire date, during orientation.Education:  High School Diploma required.  Formal specialty training preferred.Experience:  No experience required.  Medical terminology, phlebotomy & EKG experience preferred.Special Qualifications:  Able to assess the direct/indirect needs of the patient w/in the scope of their practice; plans/prioritize patient care needs; implements appropriate patient care activities; evaluates effectiveness of specific patient care activities; communicates patient care needs; confidentiality issues; & maintains current knowledge base including basic knowledge of growth & development.  Must be pleasant, polite & understanding dealing w/ patient, answering the phone or interacting w/ hospital personnel & guests.  Must be quick to respond to stat requests.  Must have initiative to react to changes in work needs.  Must be able to work in stressful situations.  Should be clean, neat, & have a “professional” appearance.  Must have a high degree of initiative & good decision-making ability.of initiative & good decision-making ability.Our Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion Trinity Health is a family of 115,000 colleagues and nearly 26,000 physicians and clinicians across 25 states.
