Position Summary
EITS Web and Mobile Technology is looking for a great communicator and problem solver to join our Enterprise Content Management ( ECM ) Team. This position will have the opportunity to work with academic and administrative units around the UGA campus to support existing business processes and find innovative solutions to new challenges.
We're looking for candidates with backgrounds that include both technical and business concepts, for a role that will be a mix of programming, application management, and client success responsibilities. This is a great chance to gain experience in translating client needs into specific solutions, and working with a qualified team to put these solutions into action.
ECM team members will support the systems and clients for the central document management service at the Unviersity of Georgia, and will also work with other projects including training systems and A.I.-powered chatbots.

Support the day-to-day operation of EITS enterprise content management ( ECM ) services and other production systems as assigned.
* Work with users as needed to address reported problems or incidents
* Add or modify users in the system as needed subject to approval from departmental leadership
* Plan and carry out required system maintenance as needed
* Schedule meetings with current and prospective clients as needed
* Verify that appropriate regular backups are taking place, and work with Systems Engineering (SE) and Database Administration ( DBA ) teams to periodically verify that backups can be restored successfully if needed

Support future operation, expansion, and enhancement of the EITS enterprise content management system and other production systems as assigned.
* Research what systems may potentially be adopted as replacement systems for Content 7 as the needs of the institution evolve
* Work to support the exploration, testing, and procurement of a customer service chatbot solution capable of being deployed institution-wide
* Determine and implement improvements to existing systems related to EITS document management services and other supported systems

Carry out testing and communication procedures as needed to support the implementation of application updates or new systems.
* Represent Content 7 and other systems as assigned in Change Management Board meetings to communicate upcoming changes, and to maintain awareness of changes that may affect document management systems
* Present to EITS Leadership Council or other groups about Content 7 or other systems as requested
* Ensure the creation and updating of appropriate documentation on the use, administration, and maintenance of Content 7 and other systems as assigned
* Ensure that Content 7 or other supported systems are appropriately tested following server patching, software updates, network or security hardware maintenance, or other changes that could impact performance or accessibility
