Job Description Athens Technical College in Athens, Georgia, seeks an adjunct instructor to teach courses in Psychology at all Athens Technical College campuses . The successful applicant will be expected to implement course materials that support stated initiatives and use appropriate teaching techniques to provide students with the knowledge needed to achieve the learning outcomes for each course offered

Skills & Requirements Minimum Qualifications
• Master’s degree with 18 semester hours in psychology. A master’s degree and/or graduate hours in counseling, education or teaching does not meet SACSCOC accreditation requirement and are not sufficient.
• Strong communication skills and work ethic
• Willingness to teach at all Athens Technical College locations
• Willingness to teach Athens Technical College courses on area high school campuses
• Willingness to teach using all college approved methods (Ex. face to face, online, audio / video, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications
• Previous teaching experience at the post-secondary level.
• Experience with online teaching platforms; Blackboard preferred
