Full Job Description Human Resource Coordinator
COMMENTS: This job description reflects assignment of essential functions. It does not prescribe or restrict the tasks that may be assigned.
SUMMARY: The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for the daily administrative support of the Human Resources and Plant Manager including, but not limited to event planning, filing, record keeping, maintaining and updating data, purchasing, and performing other duties as assigned.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Plans, organizes, maintains, and updates a variety of files, records, and databases.
Maintain employees’ file ensuring all records are properly documents.
Creates presentations and documents utilizing basic grammar, spelling, and format skills. This includes but is not limited to PowerPoint presentations, organization charts, phone listing and employee listings.
Monitors Plant Manager’s appointment schedule by planning and scheduling correspondence; drafting letters and documents, collecting and analyzing information.
Coordinates preparation of records such as agenda, notices, minutes, and resolutions for plant meetings.
Makes staff travel arrangements involving ticket purchases, hotel reservations, and auto rentals as needed.
Arranges programs, events, and conferences by arranging for facilities and caterers, issuing information or invitations, coordinating speakers, and controlling event budgets.
Develops positive relationships with the workforce through daily interactions.
Assists with pre-employment screening, new employment orientation and onboarding as needed.
Demonstrates a high level of professionalism in dealing with confidential and sensitive issues.
Supports administration, coordination, and application of company-wide human resources policies, procedures, and practices.
Meets and greets all visitors, determines their needs, and directs them to the appropriate employee/locations.
Develop and process the postings for recruiting for open positions on ADP Vantage from start to finish.
Coordinator and oversee the uniform program.
Create Employee Status Process Paperwork (ESP) forms for new hires, transfers, pay progression, leaves, etc.
Assist in the recruiting process for hourly openings.
Assist with the distribution and ordering of employee awards, gifts, etc.
Process Purchase Orders and Invoices for vendors using Coupa.
Process hourly payroll as needed.
Assists with miscellaneous projects as requested.
Any other task assigned by management.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND QUALIFICATIONS
Associate degree is required in human resources, business, accounting, or related field. Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
3 years of combined Human Resources and/or Executive Assistant experience. Experience in combination with education will be considered.
Experience in event planning in highly desired.
Excellent computer skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office Suites is required.
Skills in database management and record keeping.
Able to exhibit a high level of confidentiality.
Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to work with all levels of management as well as the ability to deal effectively with a diversity of individuals at all levels of the organization.
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound recommendations.
