Job Description
The Carry Out Counter workers takes customers orders and ensures that all orders are cut/prepared according to specifications and in accordance with food safety guidelines.
Helps maintain, and ensure the food quality standards of Moonlite BBQ. In this position it is not required to have a background in working in a Restaurant kitchen. Participate as a part of the Moonlite Team and help all other positions when necessary. Understand, perform, and document safe food handling practices.
Responsibilities include:
• Taking and filling orders from Customers.
• Exhibits a cheerful and helpful manner while greeting guests and preparing their orders.
• Demonstrates a complete understanding of menu items and explains them to guests accurately.
• Use a band Saw and Deli Slicer to prepare customers orders
• Responsible for maintaining personal hygiene, washing & sanitizing hands frequently
• Is responsible to make sure the equipment and utensils for food preparation are sanitized and functional
• Will ensure that all Food Safety Standards are met.
• Must work as part of the TEAM, fulfilling multiple line duties as needed
• Lift and carry, push or pull heavy objects up to 50 pounds
• Kneel, bend, twist or stoop
• Ascend or descend stairs
• Reach and grasp objects (including above head and below waistline)
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Ability to show up to scheduled shifts on time
