Job Summary:
Provides technical and clerical assistance to facilitate effective and efficient operation of the provider credentialing and Professional Staff Organization function.
Maintains data on credentials of current staff.
Tracks and reports performance measures according to credentialing requirements.
Responsible for coordination and preparation of medical staff functions
Processes credentialing and re-credentialing applications for health careproviders.
Ensures that staff members credentials and licenses are valid and up-to-date.
Mails, reviews, and verifies credentialing applications.
Sets up and maintains provider information in an online credentialing database.
Maintains data on credentials of current staff.
Assists in compliance with the accrediting and regulatory agencies in regards to credentialing while developing and maintaining a working knowledge of the statutes and laws.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED (Associates degree in healthcare administration or related field preferred)
One (1) year of credentialing experience
Location ID - Cigar Factory Complex - CFC
Relocation is not provided and travel is not required.
