Job Summary:
The Utilization Review Supervisor is responsible for the supervision of Utilization Review Specialists and Utilization Review Support Team. The Utilization Review Team is responsible for assuring insurance coverage of clients for treatment, by obtaining pre-certification and authorizations for various levels of care from insurance companies (the payers). The pre-certification and authorizations of coverage are obtained by demonstrating medical necessity through the presentation of medical and clinical documentation meeting applicable criteria guidelines. Collaborate with programs and departments in coordinating the UR process. Collaborate with the Accounts Receivable Department/Credentialing/Finance to ensure reimbursement of claims. Provided Monthly and Quarterly reports for Quality measurements.  The Utilization Review Supervisor reports directly to the Revenue Cycle Manger.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree
And
1 Year of Supervisory Experience
