Job Description
Production Supervisor
A growing company in the area is looking for a Production Supervisor to join their team. This position would oversee designated production areas on 1st shift. If you have strong leadership skills, you're organized and have a desire for career growth - this would be the perfect role for you!
Production Supervisor Responsibilities:
• Responsible for establishing and executing company policies, procedures, and programs
• Demonstrate strong leadership practices including setting clear goals with shift leads
• Manage & Coordinate Training Programs for employees - coach to success
• Plan & Coordinate shift activities in assigned area with 20+ direct reports
• Plan & Implement process improvements; foster a continuous improvement culture
• Contribute to a positive and motivational work environment
• Provide regular feedback and attend meetings and trainings as required
• Report to Manager; daily department KPI's, staffing shortages, operational challenges, etc.
Production Supervisor Qualifications:
• 3-5 years of experience required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Business Admin, Supply Chain, Manufacturing Engineering, or related fields is required.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate others
• Ability to work fluently with Microsoft Office
• MRP Systems experience is highly preferred
