We look for candidates with a fresh perspective, people with a wide variety of skills who are creative thinkers, enjoy challenges and are driven to excel.We are currently seeking applications to fill the following job opening at Daramic where we develop and manufacture advanced lead-acid battery separators that are driving innovation in transportation and industrial applications with cars, trucks, forklifts, and golf carts as well as ESS.Company:Daramic, LLCJob Description:This position will work a swing shift within our union facility located in Owensboro, KY.Installs, maintains, and repairs machinery, equipment, physical structures, and pipe in commercial or industrial establishments, following specifications, blueprints, manuals, and schematic drawings, using hand tools, power tools, hoist, crane and measuring and testing instruments.Visually inspects and tests machinery and equipment.Listens for unusual sounds from machines or equipment to detect malfunction and discusses machine operation variations with supervisors or other maintenance workers to diagnose problems.Dismantles defective machines and equipment and installs new or repaired parts, following specifications and blueprints using precision measuring instruments and hand tools.Cleans and lubricates, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery, using rags, brushes, and grease gun.Lay out, assembles, installs, and maintains pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, and repairs and replaces gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment.Repairs and maintains physical structure of establishment.Performs preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment.General housekeeping, cleans work area, machines, and equipment, using broom, rags, and cleaning compounds.May install machinery and equipment according to blueprints and other specifications.May install, or repair automated machinery and equipment such as robots.May set up and operate machine tools, grinder, drill, repair or fabricate machine parts, jogs and fixtures, and tools.May operate cutting torch or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts.Communications:  Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsEducation and Experience Education:       High School Graduate, College Degree a plus, Trade SchoolProfessional experience: 2-3 years in a manufacturing environment and 1-2 years in the maintenance fieldLanguages:      EnglishKnow-how:  Trouble shoot and repair industrial machinery#LI-MS1We believe a diverse workforce is crucial to our growth as a global supplier of advanced materials.
