Full Job Description Medical practice with is currently looking for a medical assistant and front office (mainly looking for part time but full time available for exceptional candidates). Medical practice is high volume and requires an individual who is capable of multi-tasking and working independently. Individuals with the skills to excel in this position will be PROVIDED ON JOB TRAINING! Currently we are taking full precautions during the COVID-19 pandemic, while still actively hiring during this period.
This position is responsible for registering patients, updating and filing medical records, scheduling, recording vital signs and assisting in diagnostic and medical procedures. This job offers the chance for pre-med students and others interested in getting into future healthcare fields an inside look into the world of medicine and clinical documentation. This position will work closely with the physician to accurately and efficiently chart and document patient background, examination, plan and treatment options.
Compensation includes excellent benefits and salary is dependent on experience.
Desired qualification:
• Ability to type efficiently and accurately
• Experience in healthcare preferred BUT NOT REQUIRED!
• Ability to work independently and multi-task
• Courteous and helpful with high patient volume
• Knowledgeable with Windows PC Computers
• College degree preferred OR CURRENT STUDENTS ABLE TO WORK PART TIME ALSO WELCOME!
