Manufacturing Engineers design new products, provide engineering support for existing products, develop components for application to new or existing products, and reduce costs for existing designs conducted independently and as part of a team environment. In this role you will Support existing production products and technical assignments that support larger projects Select techniques to solve problems and make sound process and programming recommendations using vertical (Fanuc, Fadal, Robodrills, etc.) and horizontal machines (Makino, etc.) and lathes (Okuma, Mori-Seiki, etc.) to assess results to meet the established design standard and meet customer specifications. Develop and apply automation technology systems (Fanuc, Epson, etc.), vision systems, laser QR etching. Develop and support quality inspections (Keyence, Marposs, Hexagon, etc.) REQUIREMENT: Minimum bachelor degree or technical school degree in engineering related discipline 3 to 5 years experience in manufacturing setting Ability to read and write G and M code along with a solid understanding of GD&T Experience with Autodesk CAD/CAM software with NX CAM a plus
