Full Job Description A Global Food Manufacturing company is looking for a SQF Practitioner/ Document Control Specialist candidate close to Lewisville.
The ideal candidate will have knowledge of food safety and SQF (SQF Level 3)/ USDA/FDA/HACCP regulations. Several years of experience in the food manufacturing industry or someone who has extensive knowledge in dealing with the SQF (SQF Level 3)/USDA/FDA/HACCP
Responsibilities of SQF Practitioner/ Document Control Specialist:
• Review, management, and maintenance of the manufacturing plant's SQF Code System Elements relevant to the scope of certification.
• Work with the customer FSQA team and validate changes to SQF food safety fundamentals, HACCP Plans and SQF Food Quality Plans.
• Initial and ongoing training of the employees on policies and procedures.
• Organize, maintain FSQA documents and supervise FSQA Team
Requirements of SQF Practitioner/ Document Control Specialist:
• Maintain all applicable SQF Edition 9 code system elements (Food Safety / Food Quality Policies and related Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) for Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Safe Quality Food (SQF) and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP)).
• Demonstrate understanding of the SQF Code
• Must be a Certified SQF Practitioner
• Ensure SQF Training is conducted in the timely manner
• Responsible for organizing and maintaining all SQF related forms and documents
• Knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Previous knowledge working in the food industry Quality Assurance or related field.
• Working knowledge and experience of government regulations. Role of FDA, USDA, Food Defense, Food Code and Crisis Management.
• High school diploma or GED.
