Full Job Description Who We Are:
House of Shine is a nonprofit museum and community space in Grapevine whose mission is to develop programs and tools that enable leaders, organizations, and communities to thrive. We build self-aware leaders, ages 5 to 95, to make meaningful contributions in their corner of the world using our curriculum, programs, and tools.
The Job:
The House of Shine is looking for a Program Coordinator to work with our Director of Training and
Development.
Responsibilities and Duties:
This position, located in Grapevine, Texas, is responsible for coordinating the details and logistics for corporate, community and education programs at the House of Shine. The ideal team member enjoys interacting with people, brainstorming creative ideas, managing a variety of tasks, and moving at a fast pace.
• Works directly with the (Director of Training & Development) to provide administrative support in the development, implementation, and marketing of House of Shine programs.
• Serves as a central point of contact between staff, client and volunteers on day-to-day programmatic matters; assists with conferences, meetings, and special projects that fall within
House of Shine programming.
• Coordinates activities of staff and volunteers engaged in implementation and administration of program objectives.
• Coordinates with Creative Director to communicate the development of program materials, promotional materials, educational materials, training manuals, newsletters, and/or brochures, as appropriate to the program.
• Maintains program records, researches information and gathers and computes various data; prepares special and/or one-time reports, summaries, selecting relevant data from a variety of sources.
• Organize programming inquiries, log and update Monday.com and schedule intake calls.
• Work with HOS staff and volunteers on all other programs and events as needed.
Skills:
• Ability to make administrative/procedural decisions and judgments.
• Ability to coordinate and organize meetings and/or special events.
• Skill in the use of personal computers and related software applications.
• Skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of personalities in a diverse community.
• Records maintenance skills.
• Ability to interact with students, volunteers and/or staff in a team environment.
• Ability to gather and analyze data and generate reports.
Education and Experience:
• High school diploma or GED
• At least 3 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
• Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
