Full-Time Job Details Description The Menzies Aviation Facility and Maintenance Manager will coordinate maintenance of the Fuel Farm facility to include controlling expenditures by establishing re-occurring and preventative maintenance programs. Repairs and maintains hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical equipment at fuel storage facilities/systems including product related equipment on fueling vehicles Key Responsibilities Investigate and adjust customer complaints and concerns regarding fuel systems maintenance. Diagnose problems using test equipment, statistical, equipment history, manufactures specifications, industry related standards and blueprints. Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain related components such as: pumps, valves, vessels, hydrant pits, gauges, switches, motors, lights, heaters, meters, hoses, hydrant vehicles, etc. Follow company and departmental safety policies and procedures. Maintain descriptive records on all maintenance equipment Review daily systems inspections on a weekly basis Coordinate with General Manager on facility maintenance status. Support Quality Control Technician and Fuel Farm Operators. Assist General Manager, in his/her absence, by performing basic supervisory skills and communicate the operational status and objectives to Base Management. Able to meet the Station’s attendance standards. Qualifications and Requirements Knowledge of all aspects of equipment used in the operation. Associates Degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school in hydraulics, industrial electricity, and pneumatics; or 5 years of related experience and or training; or equivalent combination of all education and experience. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, blueprints, and hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical schematics. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customer or employees of organization. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, loss/gains, inventories, inches/feet to gallons/barrels conversions, proportions, percentages, areas, weights, lengths, diameters, radius, circumferences, flow rates, pressures, voltage, amperes, watts, resistance, and volumes in standard and volumes in standard and metric. Ability to apply concepts of algebra, geometry, and trigonometry Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram from. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standard situations. Maintain maintenance objectives to maximize reliability and minimize costs. Possess/maintain a valid driver’s license and other FAA Airport required identification/seals or authorizations. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25lbs and occasionally lift and/or move up to 70lbs.
