POSITION OVERVIEW
The Quality, Safety & Compliance Manager supports the overall management of Unilode’s Quality Management System (QMS), Safety Management System (SMS) and Compliance Administration to Regulatory, Customer and Internal requirements; providing widespread support to the Head of Quality, Safety and Compliance.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES*
Quality Auditor:
• Quality auditor will monitor the quality of Unilode’s products and services
• Develop and improve our quality control procedures
• Audits of each Unilode locations per our Audit Schedule
• Supplier Audits and oversight (parts, processes, materials)
• External Audits of Contractors (MRO and Pooling)
Safety Auditor and Support Role:
• Assist Unilode Safety Managers with the overall Safety Improvement Plan
• Oversight of Station Safety Program adherence
• On Site Safety Audits (internal and external)
• Maintain safety records, report trends, manage the overall SMS requirements
FAA Drug and Alcohol Misuse Program:
• Enroll employees into Unilode’s DAMP Program
• Maintain current forms, manuals, quizzes, previous history verification/validation
• Coordinate pre-employment drug screens with local lab and forward authorization as required; Obtain results from MRO, notify station, file reports
• Update Roster’s for each location (update per occurrence)
• Notify stations, coordinate testing and lab locations
• Support reporting and program requirements
General QA/Safety/Compliance Support:
• Base Data Administration for our Electronic Recordkeeping System(s) and Electronic Learning Management System
• Station Manual and Regulatory Documents – implementation and upkeep
• General office admin, tasks as assigned in accordance with customer, program or regulatory needs
• All other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
• Undergraduate
• 5+ years relevant experience in FAA Part 145 (or 121) as an auditor with a high level of understanding of regulations.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize work and handle tasks simultaneously
• Administrative experience with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
• Ability to multi task and work at pace is essential while maintaining accuracy and quality under pressure
• Flexible & self-motivated, focused to detail and able to maintain accuracy under pressure
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) in English are vital. Other languages are a plus
• Ability to work independently and can identify more effective methods of handling a process or solve problems.
• Must be able to travel (annual average 25-35%)
