Eaton’s Industrial Sector is currently seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join our team at the Athens, GA facility and relocation services are available!
The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for preparing, controlling, and analyzing the financial records of this facility and to provide management with timely and accurate information, so as to allow for proactive rather than reactive decisions.

Essential Functions:
• Prepares monthly forecasting process including income statement, balance sheet, and memo rows. Ensure that the monthly forecast is accurately and completely loaded into Eaton’s financial systems – ENCORE and DFT
• Facilitates month-end and year-end closing activities including journal entries, account reconciliations, and other general financial analysis.
• Performs review throughout month of financial statements compared to forecast.  Researches and reviews any variances.
• Maintains and updates local and SCM cost out information on a monthly basis.
• Prepares various reports and schedules for internal, divisional, and corporate purposes
• Develops reporting mechanisms for tracking start-up expenses and customer paid tooling for new projects
• Deep knowledge on account payables processes from start to end.
• Ensure the timely and accurate supervision of hourly payroll
• Support annual Profit Plan
• Support annual SOX DSA process
• Participate in multiple cross functional teams and serve as team financial expert
• Perform other duties as required
• Standard cost rolls up champion – Burden rates, tack ons, material, material overhead calculations and routing upgrades of new and existing products.
• Co-lead physical inventory.
• CAR plant champion to maintain capex budgets on track and in compliance with Eaton policies.
• Plant Cost out co-champion with OPEX manager and Plant Controller.
• Participation in RIEs, VSM, BPI activities with other cross functional teams to identify and execute cost out projects.
• Assist the controller in pricing strategies and new product launch models/scenarios.
• Supervise end to end analysts.

Qualifications
Required (Basic) Qualifications :
• Bachelors Degree from an accredited institution
• Minimum of 3 years of accounting and/or finance experience.
• Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship, now and in the future.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration and/or finance
• Five (5) years’ experience in accounting and/or finance within a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work in an environment with tight deadlines and conflicting priorities
• Strong Understanding of Internal Controls
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong communications skills to facilitate presentations to all levels of the organization
