Essential Job Duties and Functions:
•    Will have the ability to use carbide burr tools to remove excess material from parts without causing damage to part
•    Blending of metals including steel, aluminum, magnesium and titanium
•    Will have the ability to create radius on areas of parts by hand
•    Will be able to correct some machining errors on parts by hand
•    Deburr or polishes parts
•    Knowledge of essential equipment needed to perform all tasks associated with deburring as well as maintaining equipment
•    Selects type of finish specified per work instruction, to determine amount of metal to be removed and examines part for acceptability of finish
•    Ability to operate a manual machine to finish parts
•    Inspects and replaces worn belts and grinding wheels
Essential Mental Functions and Skills
•    Knows and follow all safety requirements; strives to maintain a safe work environment and reports potential hazards to lead or supervisor
•    Assists in any and all areas assigned
•    Effectively gives and receives feedback; willingly asks questions and seeks direction as needed
•    Performs other duties as assigned
•    Must be able to function within a team environment
•    Maintains acceptable level of cleanliness in the work area
•    High attention to detail
•    Must be able to meet all training requirements as defined by department
Essential Physical Requirements:
•    May be required to push, pull, lift, and or carry up to 30lbs
•    Long periods of sitting and or standing.
•    Requires manual dexterity.
•    Requires repetitive use of hands.
•    Follow all requirements; strives to maintain a safe work environment and reports potential hazards to lead or supervisor.
•    Perform other duties as assigned.
•    Must be able to function within a team environment.
•    Maintain acceptable level of cleanliness in the work area.
•    Standard PPE is required for this position including:
•    Grinding, pressing, or basic assembly could produce flying particles of metal, which can cause eye and skin injuries. Wear safety glasses while in the deburr department.
•    Handling sharp blades and or machined parts can cause lacerations and punctures of the hands and fingers. Wear gloves while handling sharp knives and parts.
•    Operators moving to any new position in the mfg must comply with the PPE area requirements.
Essential Education/Experience:
• High School diploma or GED equivalent
• Basic math skills needed.
• Ability to read and analyze complex information
• Ability to identify, define and make recommendations for quality control issues.
• Train co-workers as required
Work Environment:
•    Manufacturing environment; may be exposed to loud noises, machinery with moving parts, and
exotic materials.
