For more than 40 years, Carrier Transicold has been an industry leader, providing customers around the world with the most advanced, energy-efficient, and environmentally sustainable container refrigeration systems and generator sets, direct-drive and diesel truck units, and trailer refrigeration systems.Carrier is seeking a logistics coordinator who will support inventory management, process orders, and assist with warehouse efforts in coordination with business needs.General responsibilitiesProvide routing information and issue shipping instructions to ensure deliveries arrive on time and to their correct location.Be responsible for the preparation of quotes for customers, which will involve examining products or materials to estimate quantities or weight and type of container required for storage or transport.Prepare paperwork for shipping and receiving team members to ensure the correct product is located/ loaded/ and stocked properly.Handle activities throughout the order fulfillment and transportation cycle to make sure established deadlines are metPartner with planning, warehouse, scheduling, and customer services departmentsSupport key players such as suppliers, manufacturers, vendors, and customersTrack quality, quantity, stock, transport routing guide, delivery timelines, and productivity Assist Team leads in monitoring warehouse/shipment activity, productivity, accuracy, and safety standardsAddress any problems or complaints that may arise quickly and amicablyExperience / qualifications:Have experience in traffic control/ distribution activitiesHave strong organizational, communication, partnership, and social skills.Practice strong relationship skills with the ability to work across a broad range of job levelsExcellent analytical skills, including strong facility with quantitative analysis techniquesEducation / certifications:Associates degree or higher in a business-related field2+ years of experience working in logistics, warehouse, and/or manufacturing settingWe are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
