This position will work in a climate-controlled manufacturing environment and the hours are Monday – Thursday, 5 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. or ten hour shifts with occasional overtime.Responsibilities include:Perform assembly and inspection processesComplete work required within the cycle timeUse hand tools to assemble hardware with various clamps, clips and bracketsAdhere to all safety requirements and wear appropriate (PPE) Personal Protection EquipmentMaintain shop supplies and floor stock and tools used in production processesRecommend improvements consistently striving for efficient and effective methodologiesMaintain departmental quality standardsOther duties as assignedQualifications:High School Diploma or GEDAbility to work effectively in a team environmentMust be at least 18 years of age or olderMust have the ability to bend, stoop, stand, and squat.Must have the ability to stand for extended periods of timeAbility to lift items that can weigh up to 35 pounds.Ability to use hand tools such as battery-operated tools, hand click torque tools, tie wrap cutters, nut drivers, and DC electric tools.Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologiesEmployee Benefits:Carrier is committed to offering competitive benefits programs for all of our employees.
