The Manager, Human Resources will have responsibility for employee relations, talent management, workforce planning, organizational development, and engagement. It is a great time to join the Human Resources function at Carrier, with investments made in human resources technology and evolution in our HR operating model, including HR Operations and Communities of Expertise (COEs).This position reports directly to the Sr Manager, Human Resources for Truck Trailer Americas and indirectly to the Vice President, Human Resources for refrigeration, located in Athens, GA.Key ResponsibilitiesLead & Support to ensure that the organization's human resources strategy is implemented effectively in support of business priorities.Collaborates with business leaders within Carrier to implement strategies focused on increasing employee engagement, retention, and team development.Generate results through agility and intellectual curiosity. Focus on what can be done with a positive attitude towards problem-solving.Supports all aspects of HR for assigned client groups including performance management, employee relations, compensation, reward and recognition, succession planning, organizational and staff developmentBuild bridges between leadership & workforce by listening and providing sound, fair and credible advice.Identify employee relations issues, conduct timely investigations, prepare documentation, and make appropriate recommendations.As a culture & change agent champion continuous improvement initiative.As a trend spotter, compile and analyze Human Resources data, develop strategies to respond to trends Ensure compliance with applicable employment laws and company policiesQualificationsBachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 5-7+ years of experienceMaster’s degree with a minimum of 2-5+ years of experienceDemonstrated knowledge of and ability to provide advanced consulting on and skillful application of HR principles, concepts, policies, and practices to solve business challengesAbility to effectively communicate with and influence others.Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects and teams to completion including organizing, planning, scheduling, and following up on all project related itemsExperience in the areas of recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compliance, policy administration, and/or employee developmentDemonstrated proficiency with Microsoft office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)Strong data proficiencyCarrier is An Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
