We are looking for Hospitalist FP / IM for our client in Rocky Mount, VA

Job Description:
Start​:​​0​​​9/​01/17
Terms: ​Locums 3-6 months
​Shift:​​ ​7P – 7A or 9P – 7A
Providers MUST be Board Certified
Prefer IM but will accept FP candidates
MUST have ACLS/BLS
MUST have clean background or they cannot get privileges
Must be willing to work 7 on 7 (including holidays) off if they are traveling to the assignment or 5 on 5 off if they are local and do not require flights and rental car for the assignment.
Shift Hours: 7P – 7A (must remain in house for the entire 12 hours) Will accept providers willing to work 10 hours shifts from 9P – 7A.
# of Beds: 32
Average Daily Census: 18 -22
NO CALL COVERAGE. OT rate is same as hourly rate. Major federal holidays are paid at 1.5X hourly rate (Easter is not included as an approved holiday).
Average Daily Admits: 4 – 5
Average Nightly Admits: 1-2 plus cross coverage
Average Daily Discharges: 4
Fully accredited by Joint Commission, it admits over 1,500 acute patients and treats over 21,000 emergency room patients each year.
EMR: Epic (please let us know if your provider has EPIC experience or not, this will be needed to determine the type of orientation the provider will need)
Hospitalist team responds to Codes as 1 st responders
Nights do not have Backup Specialty Support available
NO Procedures (if they can incubate that is a major plus)
