Position Summary:
The Scheduler will organize and maintain a high-volume logistics account’s shipping and receiving appointment schedule in very fast-paced working environment.
Position Description (Essential Duties & Responsibilities):
• Create loading and delivery appointments via phone, e-mail and established online appointment sites.
• Communicate appointment schedules to the Logistics Account Executive and their customers and input appointment information into the web-based Transportation Management System.
• Revise previously scheduled appointments and create new appointment schedules when issues occur or as requested by the Logistics Account Executive and their customers.
• Data entry / building loads into the system
• Some assistance with billing could be requested
Experience and Skills
Basic (Required)
• High School Diploma or GED
• Possess:
• Excellent attention to detail
• Interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
• Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree
• 2+ years of Logistics Account Management and / or scheduling experience
