Citi is seeking a qualified lawyer to advise the Residential Real Estate business on consumer regulations governing mortgage origination and servicing, and the Investment Finance businesses on legal issues in connection with secured lending across a wide variety of collateral. This includes advising the business on the requirements for granting and perfecting of Citi's security interest in collateral under the UCC. Responsibilities:Advise the RRE team on US consumer mortgage regulations such as: Truth-in-Lending Act (TILA); Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA); Equal Credit Opportunity Act (ECOA); Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA) and the Fair Debt Collections Act (FDCPA).Support CPB Legal for IF in NAM by drafting credit and security agreements for margin lending and lawyer finance products.Oversee major secured transactions that are documented by external counsel from inception to completion, addressing key legal issues, participating in the negotiation of core documentation, and liaising with external counsel and transactors to ensure efficient and structured process.
