Tampa Bay Machining, a Princeton Precision Group company specializing in tight tolerance parts for the
aerospace & defense industry is seeking a reliable and motivated Sales Engineer to join our organization. Successful candidates will have the desire and primary skill sets to generate sales by supporting maintenance of new and existing customers. This maintenance consists of quoting a variety of different customers, understanding customer specifications and needs, and dealing with customer interaction. The ideal candidate will be an important link between our customers and manufacturing locations; utilizing emerging technical and product knowledge combined with sales drive to support corporate goals of profitability and growth across all Princeton Precision Group companies. Compensation for this role is negotiable and based upon experience.

Requirements:
• Support and communication with the Tampa Bay Machining and Princeton Tool South management team as directed
• Support all business development and sales efforts as directed
• Key responsibility will be to execute the estimating and quotation process from start to finish and follow-up with customers.
• During the estimating process, identify potential risk elements of the items solicited. Develop risk mitigation, as practical, with support of Quality, Operations and Engineering.
• Actively learn to be able to provide customer service and technical support for the sales of precision machining processes within Aerospace, Aviation, Military, Government and Defense Industries
• Provide input on how to develop and deploy customer and product specific business development and capture strategies
• Build, maintain and expand network of customer relationships
• Leverage contacts to develop relationships with customer's purchasing and engineering
• Serve as the voice of the customer to leadership proactively communicating issues, risks and opportunities as well as providing potential solutions
• Review and track opportunities within the CRM and estimating systems
• Provide updates to sales forecasts
• Report periodic updates of current business and forecasted business to leadership.
• Travel to customers, vendors, and other internal business unit sites as required
Knowledge, skills, and abilities
• Experience in technical sales within the Aerospace and or another highly regulated Industry Preferred
• Experience with supporting, managing, and participating in the estimating and quotation process
• Ability to read and understand customer blueprints/drawings, customer RFP/RFQ's and develop cost estimates within the ERP system based upon all customer documents, specifications, contractual and quality terms, and conditions preferred
• Understanding of Aerospace precision machining, manufacturing, and processing preferred
• Integrity, influencing and negotiation skills with unparalleled focus on customer satisfaction
• Strategic planning abilities, follow up on quotes to see them through the close of the deal
• Ability to interact with all levels of management effectively and efficiently within our organization and the customers' organizations
• Results oriented, organized with proficient written and oral communications skills
• Willingness to demonstrate a positive, team player energy at all times
• Continuous support to internal departments as needed and directed by management
• Ability and willingness to evolve and change strategies as necessary and according to the direction of the organization
Education and Experience
• Bachelor's degree preferred in Engineering, Business, or Marketing
• Demonstrated equivalent experience will be considered
• Experience or equivalent knowledge of machined components preferred
• Preference will be given to experience and prior knowledge of the Aerospace, Defense, Space, and Industrial Gas Turbine markets
