POSITION DETAILS
Position Summary
Responsible for accurate and timely reporting of accounting transactions, manage the month-end close with Tampa and Financial Shared Services personnel and assist with the preparation of financial forecasts.  The position will be the primary lead and coordinate the activities to support internal and external audits.  Perform reviews and reconciliations required for the Sarbanes-Oxley control set and solve problems that may affect the accuracy of financial statements.
Principal Activities
• Primary responsibility is to manage and oversee the integrity of the accounting and financial books of record and maintain a proper control environment over company assets and expenditures.
• Manage and oversee timely and accurate month-end closings, ensuring all journal entries and accruals are properly recorded in accordance with US GAAP and company policy.
• Prepare monthly variance analysis
• Monitor and report departmental expenses
• Liaise with segment/corporate accounting
• Primary lead and responsible for fulfilling internal and external auditors requests
• Perform reconciliations for accounts not covered by Financial Shared Services and review reconciliations performed by others.
• Manage SOX controls and approvals and ensure compliance with SOX requirements and other company policies/procedures in the operation including compiling SOX documentation evidence
• Assist with variance analysis and ensure monthly integrity of financial results
• Maintain the accuracy of financials statements through reconciliations, roll forward, and/or other analytical methods
• Understand and ensure proper accounting for POC revenue recognition under GAAP
• Assist with accurate and timely forecasting and budgeting
• Control the issuance and approval of Capital Authorization Requests. Ensure proper capital / expense recording. Analyze and track expenditures and provide variance analysis.
• Ensure procurement requests meet financial objectives and are recorded properly
• Perform ad-hoc analysis to support various business needs

• Preferred:  Hyperion/BPC, SQL, FAS
Education & Experience
• S. in Accounting, Finance and/or MBA with at least 5-7 years in a manufacturing environment
• MBA preferred
• Experience using Epicor Vantage a plus
