Job SummaryThis position is an integral part of the Ferman organization supporting multi-channel marketing initiatives for retail auto dealerships throughout the Tampa Bay area. Adaptability and the ability to work in a high-pressure retail environment and simultaneously manage multiple projects is the key to success in this position.Expectations of the successful candidate include: Graphic design for branding, websites, email, social media and review sites, direct mail, brochures & collateral projects, invitations, miscellaneous signage and awards designs, some photography as needed and ad hoc graphic design projects.Ensure alignment with manufacturer brand standards, programs and compliance requirements.Administer a well-defined filing system for all graphics and photography.Assist with Special Events and Community Sponsorships.Help plan, produce and implement creative used for advertising campaigns.Assist with preparation of graphics for point of sale materials used for sales events and key community events sponsored by Ferman.Education and Qualifications:Minimum 2 years graphic design experience.Undergraduate degree in Advertising with emphasis in Graphic Design preferred.Ability to work in a high-pressure retail environment with tight deadlines and quickly adapt to change. Can effectively meet challenges and changing deadlines.A self-motivated critical thinker, accurate and detail-oriented. Strong organizational skills. An energetic team-player.Must envision personal job responsibilities as critical to the overall success of the Ferman organization.Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to articulate complex thoughts effectively.Well-organized, able to multi-task effectively and shift priorities as needed.Proficiency with both MAC and PC computers preferred; WordPress; Adobe In-Design; Photoshop; Illustrator and Acrobat.Understand the nuances of designing for web/digital as well as print and collateral materials, outdoor, signage, awards and promotional products.Personable, professional self-presentation, passion for advertising and marketing and the ability to function both independently and as part of a Team environment.Photography, videography and video editing are not required, but definitely an asset.Bi-lingual in English and Spanish, a plus.About FermanEstablished in 1895, Ferman soon became the first family of cars serving Tampa.Today, we are a major employer in the Tampa Bay area with dealership locations throughout Hillsborough, Pasco and Pinellas counties representing 12 brands of automobiles - BMW, Buick, Chevrolet, Chrysler, Dodge, Ford, GMC, Jeep, Mazda, MINI, RAM and Volvo Cars.Still a family owned & operated business we embrace a simple philosophy.
