Senior Accounting Manager Benefits and Compensation :

• Compensation of $110,00 - $130,000, plus bonus, commensurate with experience
Senior Accounting Manager Job Duties:
• Support transactional accounting functions – journal entries, period close activities, account reconciliations, monthly reporting
• Assess, evaluate, improve and implement effective internal controls, as well as underlying accounting processes and procedures
• Conduct technical research as necessary to ensure compliance with GAAP; Support training and implementation of new accounting pronouncements
• Partner with team leadership and cross-functional groups to establish infrastructure to support growth strategies
• Support integration of newly acquired entities
• Liaison with external and internal audit team(s), as required
• Train, develop and mentor staff on new and improved procedures
• Play a leadership role in directing other special projects, as assigned
Job Requirements:
Senior Accounting Manager - Skills/Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, CPA strongly preferred
• Prior experience in public accounting strongly preferred
• 7+ years of professional accounting experience
• Supervisory experience
• Track record of implementing process improvements and leading special projects
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) with advanced Excel skills
• Professional, organized, dependable, detail-oriented team player with demonstrated sense of urgency
• Analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication skills required
