Retail Sales Assistant ~ (Summer Retail Events) Tampa, FL
• Retail sales experience is welcome, but not required
• A flexible start date, within 1-2 weeks is preferred
• Full-time, somewhat flexible hours Monday-Saturday
We’re expanding our Retail Team this Summer due to new retail event locations in Tampa, Clearwater, and St Petersburg!
We’re currently looking for someone with natural leadership abilities that enjoys working with customers and thrives in fast-paced, somewhat competitive environments. You’ll be working as a Retail Sales Assistant at small live events where you’ll be representing a specific company/brand during normal retail operating hours.
Job Requirements:
No two days will be the same as you’ll be:
• Visiting different retail venues to help set up branded stands & kiosks
• Attracting attention and drawing customers towards the set-up
• Engaging with customers about a particular brand/product/service
• Meeting & greeting customers with a smile and enthusiastic tone
• Performing product demonstrations to generate interest
• Completing sales transactions, registering new customers, completing sponsorship applications, or whatever the specific campaign requires
• Building relationships and trust with customers through open and interactive communication
• Providing accurate and complete information to help customers make the best decision for them
Retail Sales assistants are involved in everything from conception through to completion. Main responsibilities include customer engagement, product promotions, providing general customer service, completing basic sales transactions, and other, similar activities as needed.

• Compensation: This is not a commission only based role! Compensation ranges between $30k-$45k including base pay and uncapped commissions.

We’ll be continuing to add additional retail locations to our lineup this year, so we’ll be on the lookout for account managers, recruitment managers, campaign managers, event bookers, and more within the coming months. We always look to promote from within before looking externally when it comes to filling these roles, so you may actually be able to advance within your first year!
Retail Sales AssistantsRequirements:
• You must be 18+ years of age and eligible to work in the USA due to the outbound nature of the role and the consumer data you’ll be collecting
• Full-time availability is ideal, but we can potentially accommodate two part-time people or seasonal/temporary workers
• Retail sales, hospitality, customer service, or similar customer-oriented work experience is helpful, but not necessarily required
• A positive attitude and ability to maintain composure are expected. Our clients have a reputation to maintain and we need to live up to their standards
• Local applicants able to start work within 2 weeks’ time are ideal, but we will consider other notice periods and circumstances
