Principal Responsibilities:Prepares evidence of insurance, insurance certificates, auto identification cards and other coverage related documentsRecords data into appropriate insurance company and firm software programsProcess daily download reportProcess and complete endorsements on carrier websitesReviews underwriting memo's and takes appropriate action to addressCompletes special projects as assignedLooks for opportunities to improve the firm, business segment and processesKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:•A current 4-40 license as required by the State Department of Insurance to provide risk management consulting or risk transfer solutions as necessary in states where the organization functions, or be willing and able to obtain the license within 90 days of starting in the role.One to two years' experience in the insurance industry a plusBasic understanding of insurance coverages, preferredStrong analytical, research and problem-solving skillsHigh attention to detailAbility to work with time constraintsStrong verbal and written communications skillsModerate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn other appropriate insurance company and firm software systemsSpecial Working Conditions:Fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.Important Notice:This position description is intended to describe the level of work required of the person performing in the role and is not a contract.
